This family needs your help. These twins' names are Hawa and Porlan. They were triplets but sadly their brother- Solomon passes away abruptly. Their birth mom died giving birth to them over a year ago. They are now a year old. Their aunt who is a poor farmer; is doing her best but cannot afford to keep them. Help us - help her. We would like to help keep this family together. They are in need of someone or a group of individuals who would be willing to sponsor them for $100 a month. These funds would go towards food and any medical care necessary. Contact us if you are interested and can help.
This is Odeciuos Johns . He lives in Monrovia and is the father to 6 children and a grand child who currently live with him and his wife. He used to work for Mercy Ships while it was in port as a driver. Besides transporting staff, he also did some mechanical work on the ships vehicles. During that time, he was able to save enough funds to buy a taxicab, which he then used to make a living after Mercy Ship left port. This was his only source of livelihood for his family since there were no jobs for him. Unfortunately for Odeciuos; and his poor family, while driving down on Johnson Street's Bridge, towards the city center (Monrovia), a huge truck's brakes failed and it uncontrollably came down the hill with a terrific speed, hitting five other vehicles (killing a man) before resting on his, crushing half of it beyond repair. He and passengers in the taxi escaped before the truck crushed it. It was God's miracle!! The incident has set him far back, making life difficult for him and his family. The driver of the truck, who escaped the scene, has not been seen; the owner of the truck remains unknown, and Police continues to investigate to situation.
Now, Odeciuos is left without a job and his car beyond repair. His children are out of school for a second semester due to lack of funds. Odeciuos is working on obtaining another car and repairing it to drive as a taxi. This family could really use your help. His need is $2,487/208.00 a month for one year to finish repairing the car and licensing it.

Help Empower Liberian People
"Your excess is someone else's necessity" This project is about Real people. They share their stories of strength, courage, perseverance, and hope. We give you the opportunity to share some of what God has blessed you with to another family. By helping them, you empower them to provide for their families, get back on their feet, while keeping their dignity through a 1-year family-to-family sponsorship fund. They need your prayers as well. Our staff in Liberia will oversee the project funds and help keep you connected to your sponsored family. Now meet some of our families needing you:

Four Corners Market - providing struggling artist in a developing country the opportunity to sell their handcrafted items to a larger world market thereby encouraging economical growth on a sustainable level. In addition, they are helping entrepreneurs start/develop small businesses through micro loans and grants and are working on apprenticeships and vocational training for those who don't have the opportunity to be skillfully trained. All profits from the sales are sown back into the country where the items were handcrafted. The funds are used to better the lives of those that made the items by improving their communities and countries.
